MHPR worked with Sydney-based jewellery brand GIMME for the launch of its ‘It Girl’ collection in 2023. With a limited budget, the 3 month campaign was focused on fashion and shopping media outreach with the objective of securing inclusions in product round ups, gift guides and trend stories.
The result was 36 press mentions in top tier media target, including Mamamia, Refinery29, Broadsheet, Popsugar, WHO Magazine, RUSSH, New Idea, Woman’s Day, Sitchu and more.
Pieces from the collection were also gifted to 15 celebrities and influencers, resulting in social media posts tagging the brand from the likes of Abbie Chatfield, Leigh Campbell, Holly Kingston, Amy Gerard, Domenica Calarco and Matilda Murray. Many of those gifted loved the pieces so much they posted multiple times and ongoing relationships with them have been forged for the brand.

MHPR was engaged by magnesium skincare brand The Base Collective for a 6 month campaign to increase brand awareness.
One of the client’s main objectives was to secure a news story on one of Australia’s biggest national digital news publications to increase traffic to the brand’s own website.
MHPR worked with the brand to develop a strong news story around The Base Collective’s hero Magnesium & White Tea Wash, including sales data, customer case studies, before and after images and an interview with the brand founder, then pitched it to the Daily Mail. The story was picked up and when it went live it sent The Base Collective’s website traffic and sales through the roof.
Less than two months later another exclusive feature was achieved with The Daily Mail, this time for the brand’s Beauty Sleep Range, and again saw a huge increase in traffic and sales directly attributed to PR.
In addition, over the 6 month period, MHPR secured 35 pieces of coverage for The Base Collective, in top tier titles including RUSSH, Urban List, Mamamia, PedestrianTV, Refinery29, WHO, Popsugar and Women’s Health.

MHPR was engaged by new sunscreen brand Sonny & Felix for a 3 month campaign to launch the brand to media and influencers in the lead up to Summer.
18 pieces of coverage were achieved within the 3 month period, including Beauty Crew, Woman’s Day, RUSSH, You Beauty and Popsugar – strong media results in a short period of time, particularly for a new and independent brand with just one product.
Local celebrities, influencers and media personalities were seeded product to trial. As a result, Mia Freedman, founder of Mamamia, talked about and demonstrated using the sunscreen in two of her morning”instababble” videos on social media, reaching a combined audience of 350,000 followers.
A contra influencer campaign was executed to drive further awareness and create User Generated Content for Sonny & Felix to leverage on brand-owned channels. 40 pieces of Instagram and TikTok content was created and shared by 9 micro influencers, providing the brand with a rich bank of assets for their own use.
Sonny & Felix is a great example of what can be achieved with a very limited budget when you choose an agency with the right skills and connections.

Natural and vegan baby skincare brand Malo engaged MHPR for an influencer campaign to generate buzz with their audiences and create beautiful content that would elevate the brand.
We partnered with a variety of influencers with babies and toddlers, including Hannah Tace, Brooke Ritchie, Tara Rosier, Lauren Dubois, Amy Gerard and When Words Fail.
The influencers created a bank of beautiful imagery for Malo and the brand saw a huge spike in website traffic and social media engagement almost immediately after the posts went live. Sales rocketed to one product selling every 30 seconds and within 48hrs the brand had sold out of all stock.
Malo’s Instagram account gained a new Instagram follower every few seconds in the 24hrs following Amy Gerard’s upload, and over the coming weeks, the brand picked up more than 10 new stockists across Australia and New Zealand.
2,000 new and expectant mums who missed out and were keen to get their hands on the next shipment of products signed up to a waitlist, helping to grow Malo’s newsletter database.
